Anandtech just did a review called “IBM’s ThinkPad T42 LCD: A Blast from the Past”.
Today we had another ASUS F3J Laptop come in. We have had a handful of these come in for repair. 100% of them have come in with the same problem- bad Nvidia GPU.
Gateway M-Series Laptop Loose Metal Problem
The Dell Inspiron 9300, 9400 and E1705 models keep us very busy. The 17” Widescreens seem to go out on this model a lot due to failures with the electronics.
Recently an MSI CR700 come in this week that would not power on. During our free diagnostic we discovered the machine had a broken power jack.
What a cool case. I had to order one of these to see it in person.
