Power jack repairs Asus, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo Thinkpad

We have been doing power jack repairs on laptops for roughly a decade.  Normally the has either been dropped when the power cord is still attached and it got pushed in when it hit the floor or the power cord was on the floor and someone tripped over it – causing it to pull out of the laptop and cause damage. Just this week, we repaired a Asus X54c, a HP DV6,  a Toshiba Satellite C650 and a Lenovo Thinkpad T410. We had the power jacks for these in stock so the repair went pretty quickly.

These repairs usually start with a phone call which start with one of the following phrases:

1) I was referred to you to fix my laptop – it needs a “DC power jack repair” – did I say that right?   We are given referrals by many computer repair shops in the Triangle, around NC and across the eastern half of the US.  I am presently  surprised at how many repair shops refer their customers to us.

2) My computer will no longer charge – can you fix it?

3) The socket where you plug the power into the laptop seems broken (or wiggles).

We can fix this.
Feel free to bring in or send us your laptop – remember we do offer free diagnostics! We will determine the problem, give you a quote for the repair and then you decide if you want to approve the repair or pick it up for no charge.
