Raleigh area Verizon customers got a surprise today, voice services on their cell phones stopped working.
Here is a map of the current outage:
The outage begun around 3PM ET. A Los Angeles client of ours has his service out as well.
Verizon said they are working on the problem.
Users took to Twitter with the hashtag #VerizonOutage. All of central North Carolina is affected, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and more.
We heard a rumor about a major Time Warner fiber line being cut, so it would also affect some Time Warner Cable users as well..
