Anandtech just did a review called “IBM’s ThinkPad T42 LCD: A Blast from the Past”. There are a LOT of people still using T42 & T42p laptops. In fact we have several here we just prepped for sale. They’re not extremely popular but the people that like them REALLY like them and if you need a high res screen in a sub $400 laptop you can pick up a T42p here.
