Discount for those affected by the April 16 storms

Absolute Computers is offering a discount to people affected by the storms and tornadoes North Carolina received on April 16, 2011. The offer applies to machines directly affected by the storms, power fluctuations, tornadoes, etc.:

50% off of labor and 0% markup on parts.

Fraud Brandon Stevens United Mortgage Group

Brandon Stevens passed a worthless check here.

The check was written from United Mortgage Group out of Raleigh, NC.

A quick Internet search of “Brandon Stevens” shows him on the “Ripoff Report”. Apparently he ripped people off under Wakefield Lending or United Mortgage Group before.

After Brandon refused to make good on equipment fraudulently purchased here by writing a check from a closed bank account of United Mortgage Group we were forced to turn it over to the authorities.

As of February 2011 Brandon Stevens has a warrant for arrest out of Raleigh, NC.

Brandon, if you see this, you can probably explain your troubles to the Judge who may let you off if you pay your bill. We do hope you get things straightened out. You did sound like a nice guy just having some troubles. Unfortunately, you have our merchandise and we just have your bad check.

Noelle M Secrest is in Prison

Noelle Secrest is back in prison (NCCI) where she belongs. She has graduated from writing bad checks to identity theft and other misc fraud and is now a felon. We had blogged about her years ago when she was writing bad checks to us & other businesses in the area:

Parkway Pointe Burglaries

We just learned that our neighbors at Ace Hardware just were broken into.

The Subway beside us was broken into Sunday night or Monday morning.

We were worried this is what would happen when we blogged about the burglaries here in Cary a few days ago here:
