HP DV6000 Power Jack Problem Fixed!
The HP DV6000 laptops are now out of warranty and showing up here. These have a neat blue LED light just above the power jack. If the blue LED is not lit or only lights up when the jack is positioned in a certain direction the jack is likely bad and needs to be replaced. We now carry this jack (among nearly all other jacks made) in stock. The jack can be repaired here under our flat rate power jack repair service which is $149. Don't let anyone tell you that you need a motherboard, this particular jack doesn't even reside on the motherboard; it is located on what we refer to as a "daughter board".
