Tuesday, February 27, 2007
We bumped into this headline today on the consumerist.com:
Geek Squad charges $415 to replace hard drive; makes customer retrieve data files himself.
The news was big and thousands of people were surprised. Unfortunately, this is the type of story that we hear on a daily basis. We get in misdiagnosed systems daily and recover many hard drives for people who were old all of their data was permanently destroyed. This is just another story of a company promising the stars while they are simply not able to deliver.
Anyways, go here to see the full story.
