New recycling options in Raleigh

In today's news there is a story about a recycling company that now has a shredder. The company is producing more jobs and can shred an impressive amount of electronics. They have plans to turn certain plastics into diesel fuel in the future.
It is great and they will probably do well, but, they charge for the service. There are local companies who will pay for this scrap such as TT&E. So, it will be interesting to see how this "pans out"... They do offer a service of destroying data but that already exists in the area and what IT dept can't remove hard drives before recycling?
To us it is a little confusing at first but it is great to see more recycling options in the area as a LOT of electronics waste is produced in the Raleigh area.
