Noelle Moore writes bad checks

The title says it all, Noelle Moore writes a bad check.
*** UPDATE *** 7/25, 48hrs after this post, we were informed that "Noelle Seacrest" has been arrested for several criminal incident in the area and is in jail.
Pretending to be normal, she strolled in here one day to purchase something. We normally only take cheks for small repairs. However, w/ NC's new check laws we decided to give checks a shot again. That is until, Noelle Moore came in. She pretended to be normal although she was really in our shop to scam a laptop. Beleive it or not this actually happens to us a lot, especially dealing products online, scammers test us daily.
NCs new laws making passing a worthless check a crime. We followed Wake County's Worthless Check Deferred Prosecution Program, but she was nowhere to be found. Now there is (another) warrant out for her arrest.
She is about 5'8", 260lbs nd has dark hair, although in a recent mugshot it was blonde with dark roots.
The online scammers are fairly easy to deal with- normally we simply do not sell to them. Extra safety precautions help ensure safe transactions online, although there is always some risk involved. Simply keeping customers happy goes a long way, and we've never been scammed online.
Locally we've even been broken into before, although the people that did that went to jail.
Anyhow, if you live in Cary, NC and run into Noelle Moore, go ahead and turn her in to Cary PD. She has been ripping off people in our great community and she thinks she's a con artist. Her last known address was in Morrisville. We thought about offering a reward but we know she is going to get busted without one. Even if you were a criminal, wouldn't you steal from a large chain store that can afford it? Not her- she walked into a small business and picked out the most expensive thing she could find.
NOTE: We did a thorough search online and her name does not show up anywhere. There are other innocent people that share her name that live in other states. We beleive our local criminal to be named Noelle Martin Moore.

UPDATE: Noelle Seacrest was apprehended and released on multiple occasions now. She was supposed to make payments to her victims but has failed to every time. I don't know who is responsible for releasing her over and over and over and over but I wonder how they would like $500 stolen from them once in a while. I mean, c'mon, it has been EIGHTEEN MONTHS STRAIGHT NOW, LOCK HER UP FOR PETE'S SAKE.
Dec. 11, 2007 - We have been notified by a small business owner in Greensboro, NC that Noelle is still using the alias "Noelle Moore". In fact she was out passing bad checks TODAY! She told her last victim that she has a husband named "Matt Seacrest". Is it true or just BS? Who knows!

UPDATE 02/04/2008:
12/13/2007: We wrote a letter to the NC State of Corrections. The letter gave them Noelle's address, land line # and cell phone #.
12/19/2007: We received a letter back which stats "This information has been forwarded to the PPO in charge of this case."
01/18/2008: We received our response. We opened the letter thinking that it thank us for the information and tell us about how everything was resolved. No, that didn't happen. It says "...we are writing to notify you that the above-named offender has absconded supervision and the location of the offender is unknown."
Basically, we sent them a letter with her address and they send us a letter telling us they don't know where she lives.
We're starting to wonder if NC's "worthless check program" is worthless. Sure, it makes passing bad checks a crime, but if the criminals aren't punished, what good is it? We expect people to write bad checks and try to rip us off once in a while; what we did not expect was to be ignored when we needed help from the programs put in place...

UPDATE 02/04/2008:
We just submitted all of the info we have to the Greensboro PD. If she is still living in Greensboro we think she'll be picked up due to all of the outstanding warrants.

UPDATE 02/04/2008:
We were informed that Greensboro and Wake County do not have outstanding warrants for Noelle. This is odd, especially since she is in violation of her probation.
We just called the Wake County DA's office and they said she DOES have outstanding warrants. We were also given the warrant numbers, 06CRS051309, 06CRS051311, 06CRS061549, supposedly issued 07/24/2007. They said she has been arrested on several occasions.
We called the Cary PD with the above information and they again told us she does NOT have any warrants enforceable by Cary.
Tomorrow we will call the DA back AGAIN and see exactly what the problem is. -

UPDATE: 03/05/2008:
Several tips have come in regarding Noelle.
We verified that her current warrants do exist in Wake County.
No more updates but we're confident she'll show up on the radar soon.
