IBM ThinkPad A31 2652-M5U: No Display

An IBM ThinkPad A31 2652-M5U came in for repair this week. It had no display. A31 laptops can be tricky. Sometimes no display is caused by the system board, LCD cable, LCD Inverter, bad backlight or a bad LCD.

This one needed a new LCD cable.
