IBM ThinkPad T21 Repair
An IBM ThinkPad T21 came in for repair. It was getting no display. This can be caused by a bad backlight, a bad system board, a bad LCD inverter or a bad cable.
This one had a bad cable. Replacement cables are in stock and are $35. =)

When you replace the cable, does it look damage at all?

No. When looking at the cable, you would never see anything physically wrong with it.
