This T20 (2647-4EU) just came in for repair.
A cat spilled water on it!
This one will be getting a new system board. The boards are in stock and are $99.

Hello,
I have a strange problem and I am thinking it may be the motherboard of my T20 IBM laptop.....
This unit will only run on battery power, sometimes. If you plug in the power supply it will lock up. wont even go to the post screen at times,
I tried:
another supply
another ram set
another battery
another hard drive
reset bios
attempted to install new OS (XP will not finish loading now :()
reseated Processor
took out anything that could be removed..(dvd drive, network cards etc...)
I believe it must be in the power management section of the motherboard because I try to change setting on power mangement and it always locked up.
Any input would be appresiated in this matter, I see you sel the Motherboards for $99.... Please tell me how I would aquire one if nobody has any solutions or other reccomendations to try.
Thanks!,

Hi Bill,
It sounds like a motherboard issue.
We offer free diagnostics here.
If you want just the part itself feel free to give us a call.
