Dell 8100 Laptop Repair
Tuesday, May 17, 2005
Another 8100 came in today.
This one had a broken DC Jack which needed to be replaced.
This generally takes around an hour and a half. The laptop must come apart, the motherboard is taken out. Next, we reseat or replace the DC jack w/ new solder.

What was wrong with the laptop? I have the same model and the video is all screwed up, I was thinking loose connection or solder... where is this jack?
