It appears that my laptop is switching off unexpectedly from over heating if additional cfm is not present. I am using a base fan and a desk fan to cool the laptop and it will run indefinately. The interior cooling fan is running. Is this a common problem with Fujitsu ? (This is a N3010).
I had the same problem, and since I have moved to Dubai, ambient temps can be higher here! There is no international warranty so I spent $200 to DHL back to the US. When i spoke to Fujitsu in the UK, they acknowledged the overheating problrm, AND SAID THEY WOULD REPAIR OUT OF WARRANTY AS IT WAS A DESIGN DEFECT!!! So take them to task and get it fixed. Mine finally died totally.

It appears to be an inverter... It turns out Fuji is one of those companies that will not sell parts for the laptops they sell. (cringe)
